Vehicle does not make it to Inspection

 inspection station for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival
they found a fully involved van.

Heavy Training Day A-group



Squad 13 along with Squrt 31 hooking up to hydrant to supply new 2000 gpm nozzle mounted on F450 assigned to Squad 13.

 Ladder 2 and Ladder 4 were at the training academy to do some trial studies with the two different ladder types. Companies performed the same evolutions and were timed to see how long each different ladder took to complete the task.


Companies completed 3 levels of tasks and documented their results and videoed the activitiesd for later review.










 Squrt 51 arrived at the training academy in the afternoon and perform some hose evolutions while operating as a 3 man engine.

Each firefighter completed the same evolution thereby experiencing the same tasks while working as a 3 man engine.










Engine 22 was also out training while performing standpipe hook ups at a couple of buildings in their local. Thereby completing all 6 company officers taking advantage of a Sunday training day with their companies.

CHFD Welcomes Home Army 1st Sergeant Kenneth Sineath

Just one week after Veterans Day 2012, Cherry Hill Firefighters and EMTs were honored to stand with family, friends and neighbors as 28 year old Army 1st Sergeant Kenneth Sineath returned to his family home on Massachusetts Ave in Cherry Hill. Sergeant Sineath has returned home for his wedding to his fiancé, Jessica. Soon after, he will redeploy to Afghanistan for his 4th tour since he joined the Army in 2002.

Sergeant Sineath is a Purple Heart recipient, amongst a litany of medals and recognition that include: 5 Army Commendation Medals; 4 Army Achievement Medals; an Afghanistan & Iraq War Campaign Medal; and many others.

The Cherry Hill Fire Department thanks Sergeant Sineath for his service and takes these opportunities to reflect and thank all military personnel serving our country.

Squrt 51 handles Haz Mat in Squad 13's Local

While covering Squad 13, Squrt 51dispatched to a natural gas leak 1 block from Squad 13's station on Rt. 561 that was caused by a Verizon construction crew. They struck a house service T fitting. The company along with CHPD closed down Rt. 561 until a PSG crew could arrive. The company requested Cherry Hill Fire Police to assist with traffic control.

After about an hour the PSG crew arrived and clamped off the gas service. The company went available and returned to Squad 13's quarters until their return from teaching, of all things Haz Mat training to the new fire department recruits.
