On April 16th, 17th and 18th the firefighters from Cherry Hill Rescue Company 13 and Camden City Rescue Company 1 conducted building collapse and shoring training.
This is just one discipline, among many, that these two companies
have to be well versed in. Some of the other areas these companies respond to are trench rescue, confined space rescue, vehicle
extrication, water/ice rescue, high angle rescue and hazardous materials
incidents.
Rescue
13 & Rescue 1 are two major components of the regional special operations
response.
